This guide covers the Kent air purifier in Nepal: the two models on sale, their prices, how much clean air each one delivers, what they cost to run, and how they compare with a Blueair at the same budget. For every brand side by side, see our air purifier brands compared guide.
Kent is an Indian brand best known in Nepal for its water purifiers. CG Electronics launched Kent air purifiers in Nepal in March 2026 with a 12-month warranty. They are priced low, which makes them a common first look for buyers on a budget.
Kent air purifier price in Nepal
Two Kent models were in stock at Nepali shops in October 2026:
| Kent model | Price seen in Nepal | CADR | Room size (Kent) | Power | Noise |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aura | Rs 23,962 (list Rs 28,190) | 183 m³/h | up to 270 sq ft | 45 W | Not published |
| Alps+ UV | Rs 40,990 to Rs 44,990 (list Rs 49,990) | 400 m³/h | up to 430 sq ft | 70 W | up to 54 dB |
The lower Alps+ price is on CG Digital, the Kent distributor’s own shop; the higher one is an AC Ghar offer price. Kent’s plain Alps model was listed out of stock.
Kent Aura: for a small room
The Aura is Kent’s compact model. At 183 m³/h it cleans the air in a 200 sq ft room with an 8 ft ceiling about four times an hour, which is enough for a bedroom. Kent’s own “up to 270 sq ft” is a fair upper limit.
It has three filter layers: a pre-filter for hair and coarse dust, an activated carbon filter for smells, and a HEPA filter for fine dust and PM2.5. It also has an air quality display, a filter-change light and a child lock. It also has a built-in ionizer. Kent does not publish a noise figure for the Aura, so listen to it in the shop if it is going in a bedroom.
Kent Alps+ UV: for a larger room
The Alps+ delivers 400 m³/h, more than twice the Aura, so it suits a large bedroom or a living room of around 400 sq ft. It adds a PM2.5 sensor and a 1.3 W UV LED to the same three filter layers.
The UV light is not the reason to buy it. In a purifier, air passes the lamp in a moment, and the HEPA filter already catches the particles. The reason to buy the Alps+ over the Aura is the extra airflow. Its weak point is power: 70 W at top speed is high for this output.
What size of Kent purifier your room needs
Match CADR to your room, not the room size on the box. For four to five air changes an hour with an 8 ft ceiling, you need roughly 0.9 to 1.1 m³/h of CADR for every square foot. A 200 sq ft bedroom needs about 180 to 230 m³/h; a 400 sq ft living room needs about 360 to 450 m³/h.
Rooms facing a dusty road, with high ceilings, or with windows often open need more. Our CADR and room size guide shows the sums.
Kent filters in Nepal
Kent says the HEPA and carbon filters need replacing every 6 to 12 months, depending on use and pollution. In a dusty Kathmandu home running many hours a day, plan for the shorter end. Each model takes its own filter set.
We could not find a Nepali shop listing Kent replacement filters with prices in October 2026. Before you buy, ask CG Electronics or your seller for the filter part number, its price and whether it is in stock. Add that price twice a year to the purifier price to see your real cost.
What a Kent air purifier costs to run
Run 8 hours a day at top speed, the Aura (45 W) uses about 11 units a month and the Alps+ (70 W) about 17 units. At the NEA rate of Rs 9.50 a unit, that is about Rs 103 and Rs 160 a month in power, before filters. A Blue 3610 at 38 W costs about Rs 87 a month in power while delivering more clean air than the Alps+. Our air purifier electricity cost guide has the full working.
Kent for Kathmandu dust and PM2.5
Both Kent models use HEPA filters that catch fine road dust and PM2.5, and carbon that takes up some smoke and cooking smells. Like any purifier, they only clean air that passes through them, so keep windows closed while they run and wipe settled dust from floors and shelves. For homes near roads or construction, our air purifier for dust page lists the models with the most filter area.

For a small bedroom, the Blue 411 gives the same clean air as the Aura for a little less money, at under a quarter of the power, with a published 17 dB lowest speed and its filter in stock. For a living room, the Blue 3610 costs Rs 5,010 to Rs 9,010 more than the Alps+ but delivers half as much clean air again (600 against 400 m³/h) on about half the power.
Blueair is a Swedish brand sold in more than 60 countries. Its HEPASilent filtration captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.1 micron, and its CADR figures are tested to AHAM standards. We deliver across Nepal, from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Chitwan and Butwal, and answer questions on WhatsApp after you buy.

FAQs
What is the Kent air purifier price in Nepal?
In October 2026 the Kent Aura was listed at Rs 23,962 and the Kent Alps+ UV at Rs 40,990 (CG Digital) to Rs 44,990 (AC Ghar). Both list at higher prices before offers.
Who sells and services Kent air purifiers in Nepal?
Kent air purifiers were launched in Nepal by CG Electronics in March 2026 with a 12-month warranty. Ask CG or your seller about filter stock and service.
Kent Aura or Kent Alps+: which should I buy?
Buy by room size. The Aura (183 m³/h) suits a bedroom of about 200 sq ft. The Alps+ (400 m³/h) suits a room of about 400 sq ft.
Does the UV light in the Kent Alps+ make the air cleaner?
The HEPA filter does the cleaning. Air passes a UV lamp too quickly for it to add much, so choose the Alps+ for its airflow, not the UV.
Does Clean Air Nepal sell Kent filters?
No. We sell and service genuine Blueair purifiers and filters only. For Kent filters, contact CG Electronics or the shop that sold your purifier.
