What makes the Cabin Series different

360° airflow fills the whole car

Air goes in and comes out on every side, so the whole cabin gets cleaned, front seats and back. Blueair says the Cabin P2i cleans the air in a car in under 6 minutes, about 5 full air changes every hour.

Straps behind the front seat

A strap holds the purifier on the back of the driver or passenger seat, out of your way. It runs from the 12V socket, the same one you charge your phone from, and uses very little power: up to 5.5 W on the P1 and 7 W on the P2i.

Particle and carbon filter in one

The HEPASilent filter catches road dust, exhaust particles and smoke. The carbon layer takes out the smells that build up in a closed car, from traffic fumes to food and damp mats.

Which Cabin model is right for you

Blueair Cabin P13 fan speeds · 1.7 to 5.5 W

Simple and easy: switch it on, pick a speed and drive. Pick it if you want clean car air at the lower price.

Small and medium cars

Blueair Cabin P2iAuto mode · Bluetooth app

Adds a laser particle sensor that speeds the fan up when the traffic air gets worse, plus control from the Blueair app on your phone. Pick it if you spend hours a day on the road.

Small and medium cars

Both models are made for hatchbacks, sedans and other small and medium cars. For your home or office, see all air purifiers in Nepal.

Why closing the windows is not enough

Rolling the windows up does not keep traffic air out. Exhaust and road dust still come in through the AC vents and door seals, and in a small closed cabin they build up fast, right where you breathe. The WHO links fine PM2.5 particles to heart and lung disease. Read what PM2.5 does to your health and how to handle smoke and haze season.

Cabin Series replacement filters

Each Cabin model has its own genuine Blueair filter, and we keep both in stock. Change it about every 6 months. The light on the plug flashes red when it is time.

Frequently asked questions

Practical answers for buyers in Nepal.

Should I buy the Blueair Cabin P1 or the P2i?
Both clean the same size of car with the same 360° airflow and filter type. The P1 has 3 fan speeds you set by hand. The P2i adds a particle sensor, auto mode and Bluetooth app control, so it reacts to traffic on its own.
My car already has an AC cabin filter. Do I still need a car air purifier?
Yes. The AC filter only cleans air coming in from outside, and only when the fan runs. The Cabin purifier keeps cleaning the air already inside the car, including dust and smells that build up while you drive.
How do I fit and power a Blueair Cabin?
Strap it to the back of a front seat and plug it into the 12V socket. There is nothing to install and no tools needed. It uses very little power, so it is fine to run on every drive.
Will a Cabin purifier work in a big SUV or microbus?
Blueair makes the Cabin P1 and P2i for small and medium cars, like hatchbacks and sedans. In a large SUV or a microbus it will still clean the air near the seat it is fitted to, but not the whole vehicle as fast.
How long does a Cabin filter last?
About 6 months with daily driving. The light on the plug flashes red when it is time to change it. We keep genuine filters for both models in stock.
What warranty comes with a Blueair car air purifier?
The Cabin P1 and P2i both come with a 2-year warranty, and any claim is handled by our team in Nepal. Filters are consumables and are not covered.
